Working Papers
The working Paper series has a number of aims. First, we aim to provide access to papers presented as part of the group’s Annual Symposium. Second, we aim to feature as many papers as possible from sessions sponsored by the group at the RGS (IBG) Annual Conference. Third, we aspire to publicise theoretically-informed and original research in economic geography in timely fashion. In particular we are keen to encourage:
- Working papers that outline the current direction of your research;
- Longer, extended versions of papers submitted to journals;
- Postgraduate work, where ideas could benefit from constructive feedback;
- Different kinds of papers including opinion, review, discussion and polemical pieces!
- Papers aimed at non-geographical or non-academic audiences.
Each of these three elements has its own dedicated section of the Working Papers section of this website. Papers that authors wish to publicise via the website should be submitted by e-mail attachment (either MS Word or pdf) to the series editors, or . Style should be consistent with previous Working Papers in the Series, including 1.5 or double spacing throughout, name and contact details of author(s), paper title, short abstract with keywords, footnotes where appropriate, and a separate list of references. The EGRG has a non-exclusive publishing policy, but it is assumed that manuscripts submitted to the Working Paper Series have not already been published elsewhere.
You will need a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat ( downloadable from Adobe ) to view PDF file(s). PDF files open in a new window.
